There is a nice freshness and authenticity in Tanzanian music. When I listen to it, I hear an african freshness and end up refreshed unlike when I listen to our own genge which lives my mind rather confused coz all thru the song it was like I was struggling to convince my mind that this is kenyan not a 'fake' 50cent or eve and thus I after genge my mind ends up tired .

I am one of those who would like to support our artists, but when Mr. Nice came to Minneapolis he acted like we were back home where u can just rip people off. The show was a total failure and do not plan on going to any of his shows. If our artists treat their fans to be with impunity then there careers are are going to be shortlived.
