What happened to the
new videos which were briefly
uploaded late last week (early nov.) then pulled off?
Ok! I'll address
the issue in this article. As for mixology, I'll load new mixes
tomorrow including a new fruit salad music mix coming up as we gear up
for the 21st (Katiba). Am I Politically Speaking or
Politically Mixing? On a serious note let's pray that our
goes through this process peacefully.
Well the story about new
videos - The videos
had been lying on
my desk for a " minute " (as in a loooooooooooong minute = 6
months +) & just as I had predicted at first that I'd come across
" encoding / compression problems " back ........ It turned out to be
so.
A number of this particular videos from famo /
digz have unnecessary "video camera motion", thus when this
motion combines with "object motion" (e.g. a car,
human, or an animal) the video appears to have too much " digital
artifacts aka
pixelization" esp. when compressed further to certain
small size video formats for online viewing purposes.
Example: Try compare a stationary camera
video shooting of a mtangazaji / newscaster seated in stationary
position, to that of an action packed movie with so much motion
on it like matrix on the same cable TV. If one is keen enough, one
would notice artifacts in the latter i.e. The Matrix.
Well, I tried something different - to change
them to a another video file format but problem was "half solved"
i.e. videos would be viewed fine (download &/or stream wise) for guys
in areas with ridiculous high speed connections e.g. loyal mtejas of
verizon FiOS - Fiber Optic Service they be
connected at upto 15MBps download
!!!! just kidding
small b NOT capital
B i.e it's 15Mbps.
Anyways, this time the quality of the
video compression was good BUT the video would stop (PS. not
stop to buffer up, but STOP kabisa) depending on a user
type of internet connection. That is why
the videos had to be pulled off AGAIN.
Please kindly note your e-mails are received even though
you might have never received a reply from me, your appreciations
are appreciated
& requests have been looked to if not are being looked
into.
Kinda understand, this site is operated single
handedly by an Individual & NOT the plural.
Troubleshooting bugs & updating dj mixed ngomas
for listening, videos, articles, pichaz .... e.t.c., all this
juggling
has to be done by this poor individual, so that you
peeps can " experience the mix
" after a hard days work, during the weekend birthday party or @
short break times
at kazini OR in a common case whilst at work ...... where peeps take
it further
the "whole nine yards" to burudika with muziki @ kazini! Haiya!
